I was reading Jay Milne post on why or why not to use ICT. My thoughts are along the same line in that there is a right time and right place for ICT to be incorporated into lessons. I can’t see any point in using ICT just because it’s the done thing in the 21 century classroom. As a teacher plans a lesson that includes ICT usage which is beneficial to learning outcomes, the same I believe needs to apply to students. Students need to specific on how they are going to incorporate ICT-Technology on their learning path instead of jumping straight in so they meet the lesson objectives, with ICT methods.
